On the 11th November 2018 a new War Memorial for Applecross was erected. The Ross And Cromarty Heritage Society depends on local people to provide information and photographs on features such as War Memorials in their own area. So far, partly due to the current Covid-19 restrictions there is no information for the new Applecross War Memorial. There is also a memorial created by Applecross school, which is now displayed in the local Heritage Centre. But again no information is available to the Ross and Cromarty Heritage Society.
The War Memorial commemorates:
- the First World War (1914 – 1918)
- the Second World War (1939 – 1945)
- Civilians
It was dedicated on the 11th November 2018
