It was a No. 3 engine, Fowler 7hp, bought in 1927 and sold in 1963. Standing beside the sacks is Willie Matheson, and Roderick Matheson is standing on the mill, with Alex Munro sitting beside him. Memorial at Simon's Loch

The loch known as Simon’s Loch, in the Monadh Mhor wood in the Black Isle, was the scene of a tragedy on 18 May 1952 when a small boat capsized, throwing the occupants into the loch, resulting in the drowning of three teenage boys.
