Ardross Church Wedding Dresses Display

A display of wedding dresses and Christening robes took the spotlight at Ardross Church on a weekend in June 2010, attracting visitors from near and far.

Locals came to support and meet up with people they had not seen for a long time, with visitors from Gairloch, Lairg, Glenurquhart, and even holidaymakers from the south of England and Australia.

All agreed that it was an excellent and varied display from the oldest gown worn in 1870 through every decade to one worn the previous month.

This is a small selecion of the dresses that were on display.  To view more dresses place visit the photograph album at the bottom of this page.
