Fyrish

One of the locals hills is Fyrish.  Once at the top you are afforded a spectacular view of the surrounding area.

Fyrish Monument

At the top of Fyrish is a monument, built in 1782, which is based on the Gate of Negapatam, a port in Madras, India.  It was built on the orders of Sir Hector Munro, 8th of Novar, who served as a general in India.
