Ross and Cromarty Heritage aims to produce a multi-media account of contemporary and historical life in the thirty-six Communities of Ross and Cromarty. The material collected takes the form of short profiles, 'snapshots' of the Folk, Place, Environment, Work, Societies, Recreations and Heritage of each Community, illustrated by photographs. Extended articles also form an important part . Information continues to be gathered from all 36 Communities.

The current website has been established following financial support courtesy of the four councillors of Dingwall and Seaforth Ward, and also the Trustees of the Forbes Fund.

The parent body (Ross and Cromarty Heritage Society) welcomes new members to join the current band of volunteers, especially those prepared to offer support, time and expertise  to further the work of the Society.
