Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team

On 10 June 2017 members of Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team saw the culmination of a programme of fund-raising amounting to £185,000 when their new base in Dingwall was opened by Dave Whalley, BEM, MBE.

A plaque acknowledges the many organisations which had contributed to the cost of the new base and includes a dedication In fond memory of team members Bill Amos, Dave Ritchie, Alex Brett and James Edwards.

David Ritchie is remembered with affection by members of Ross and Cromarty Heritage Society for his support to the Society and his contribution to this particular section of our website.
